As we close out one phase of the year, another begins — our upcoming 12-week training season, starting November 4th. This next stretch is about building, sharpening, and preparing — both as individuals and as a team — for the spring season, when we return to full competition.
This cycle won’t just be about drills or conditioning; it’s about developing identity. Every practice, every scrimmage, every session will serve a purpose:
To improve how we play together, how we think under pressure, and how we respond when it counts most.
We’ll also take scheduled time off for the holidays: Thanksgiving (November 25–29) and Christmas/New Year (December 23–January 1). Those breaks are built in intentionally — time to rest, recover, and return sharper.
Throughout the season, we’ll mix in scrimmages against familiar UPSL opponents we’ve faced before, along with matches against college club teams to push our pace and intensity. These games aren’t just tests — they’re checkpoints to see how our training translates into performance.

Commit to the work. Show up ready. Let’s build something stronger this winter.
The 12-Week Training Plan
Each two-week phase has a focus, progressing step-by-step to strengthen how we play in every area of the field.
Weeks 1–2: Build-Up and Defensive Shape
Weeks 3–4: Pressing and Transitions
Weeks 5–6: Chance Creation and Finishing
Weeks 7–8: Compact Defending and Midfield Press
Weeks 9–10: Game Management and Advanced Transitions
Weeks 11–12: Peak Performance and Set Pieces
This in-house designed program was built specifically for our club, shaped by the lessons learned from both our UPSL D1 and UPSL Premier seasons. It focuses on the areas we’ve identified as most critical for improvement — composure in build-up play, consistency in pressing, and smarter transitions under pressure.
The plan isn’t static. It’s flexible and adaptive, allowing us to make adjustments based on feedback from scrimmages, match analysis, and player performance throughout the season. Each session is structured to build on the last, ensuring continuous growth, stronger team chemistry, and a clear path toward spring readiness.
The Goal Moving Forward
The focus of this training season is clear:
Commitment
Consistency
Progress
Every session counts. Every player has a role. The goal isn’t just to show up — it’s to improve, to compete, and to prepare for what’s next.
By the time the spring season arrives, we won’t just be a team with potential — we’ll be a team that’s ready. Ready to compete. Ready to perform. Ready to make a mark.
November 4th is the start.
If you’re serious about getting better, this is where it begins
Show up, lock in, and make these twelve weeks the foundation of something greater.
