Growing a soccer team is never simple. Anyone can throw together a group of players for a game or two, but building a club — one that trains together, grows together, and competes together — takes effort, time, and commitment. That’s what we’re working on every single week at Berryville FC. And right now, one of our biggest priorities is adding more players who want to be part of this journey.

The journey we’re on isn’t the easy one, and it’s far from ideal. We know it’s always easier for good players to join a well-established team — one that already has a roster full of talent, a winning record, and everything neatly in place.

• But wouldn’t it be greater to start at the bottom and be part of building something new?

• To grow with a club, to see it transform from scraping together players just to survive in a league, into a team that’s respected and successful?

That’s the difference Berryville FC offers.

Here, you don’t just join a team — you help shape its future.

We’ve come a long way from those early days of scraping together enough players just to get through ninety minutes. Now we’re in the UPSL Premier, training three nights a week, and building a team that’s starting to make its mark. But we’re not stopping there.

The next step in our vision is to create a second team that will compete in UPSL Division 1, while our first team continues to push forward in the UPSL Premier Division. That means more playing opportunities, more competition, and more chances for players to grow in a structured, competitive environment.

And the vision doesn’t stop with the senior teams. Looking ahead to 2026, we’re preparing to launch the Youth Academy. This will provide a real pathway for young players in our community to join the club, train the right way, and eventually move up to our senior squads. This is where the true long-term growth of the club begins. Our youth teams will cover U9 through U15, giving players the chance to grow with us from the very beginning. And of course, we are actively recruiting players for the first team in the UPSL Premier and for the second team in UPSL D1 as we prepare for that expansion.

Strong defenders and strikers who are committed to the team, willing to put in the work, and hungry to compete will play a huge role in our next phase of growth.
